Use this Budget Calculator to help you keep a close eye on your spending. It gives you the choice of viewing your income and outgoings as a summary or in detail.

To get the most from the calculator, use the "Calculator" tab to enter all of the details of your income and outgoings.

Income

Enter your sources of income in each line provided remembering that it's only for one month.

Outgoings

Each line of outgoings has a link to a more detailed page via the "breakdown" button to help you work out what you think you spend each month in that category. There's also a miscellaneous box for any items not covered by the other categories.

When you're in a specific breakdown screen, enter the appropriate amounts into the boxes and click "Calculate" to get the total. This total will automatically update on the main calculator page.

Once you've entered your outgoings in each one of the categories, click "Calculate". This will work out how much you are spending against what your income is, and show your "Net Income".

To get an easy to read summary or to print it, just go into the "Summary" tab. You can print your summary by clicking "Print".

This calculator will make your budgeting a lot easier - have a go.
